Sync a Pages document across devices
You can set up iCloud on your Mac, iPhone, and iPad so that documents in the Pages app on all your devices and in Pages for iCloud stay in sync. That means that whether you create or modify a Pages document on your Mac, iPhone, iPad, or on the web, you see the latest version everywhere.

Understanding syncing symbols in Pages for iCloud
Occasionally, syncing symbols appear in a document’s thumbnail in the document manager.
Go to Pages for iCloud , then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
In the document manager, if you see next to a document thumbnail, an upload to iCloud is in progress. If you see , the upload failed.
If you can’t open a document in the document manager, and either symbol appears in the document’s thumbnail, make sure the device used to create the document is connected to the internet and set up with iCloud.
Note: You may notice some differences between working in a document in Pages for Mac, iPhone, or iPad, and Pages for iCloud. See Features in Pages, Numbers, and Keynote on iCloud.com.
