Restore an earlier version of a presentation in Keynote for iCloud
Keynote for iCloud periodically saves versions of your presentation. If you want to return to a previous version (for example, because you deleted content you decide you still need), you can restore an earlier version.
Note: If you or someone you’re sharing a presentation with reverts to an earlier version of the presentation, everyone sharing the presentation sees the earlier version. See Intro to collaboration in Keynote for iCloud.
Open the presentation, click the Tools button in the toolbar, then choose Browse All Versions.
In the Version History popover, select the presentation you want to restore.
If you’re not sure which version you want to restore, select a presentation, then click Preview. To compare it with another version, select another version, then click Preview again.
The preview is view-only (you can’t make any changes to it). To download or print a copy, click the Tools button at the top of the preview window, then choose an option.
Click Restore at the bottom of the Version History window.
Tip: You can also click Restore in the top-right corner of a presentation you’re previewing.
The current version is replaced with the selected version.
If you accidentally delete a presentation (or folder) entirely, you may be able to get it back by recovering it.
