The Apple TV app is also the only place where you can subscribe to and watch Apple TV+, the streaming service featuring original stories from the most creative minds in TV and film.
Because the Apple TV app is also available on Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, and Mac, you can take Apple TV wherever you go.
Note: Not all devices support on-device transactions, so you may not be able to buy, rent, or subscribe to shows or channels directly. However, you can sign in with your Apple ID to watch items you’ve already purchased, rented, or subscribed to on other devices.
In the Apple TV app, you can:
Subscribe to and watch Apple TV+, featuring original TV shows, movies, and Friday Night Baseball from Apple, always ad-free and on-demand
Subscribe directly to Apple TV channels such as Showtime, Paramount+, and more (Apple TV channels are not available in all countries or regions)
Get personalized recommendations based on your tastes and viewing history
Find and watch Apple Originals on Apple TV+ (this feature is not available in all countries or regions)
Use the Store screen to get the world’s best movies and TV shows for purchase, rental, or subscription, including Apple TV channels you haven’t subscribed to yet
