Organize photos and videos in albums on iCloud.com
When you organize photos and videos in an album in Photos on iCloud.com, those changes appear on any of your devices that have iCloud Photos turned on.
Note: You can only organize photos and videos in your personal library on iCloud.com. To add an item from an iCloud Shared Photo Library to an album or view items that are already in an album, use the Photos app on a device with iOS 16.1, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, or later.
Create an album
Go to icloud.com/photos, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Do one of the following:
Enter a name for the new album, then select Save.
, To view the album, select Albums in the sidebar, then select the album name.
Add photos or videos to an album
You can add photos or videos to an album from your library on iCloud.com. If the photo or video is on your computer, you can upload it directly to the album.
Go to icloud.com/photos, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Select the photos or videos you want to add to an album, then select
.Choose Add to Album, select an album, then select Add.
Tip: On a computer, you can also add photos and videos to an album by dragging them to the album in the sidebar.
Rename an album
Go to icloud.com/photos, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Select an album in the sidebar.
Select the name at the top of the window, then type a new name.
If you’re using a phone or tablet, you may need to tap Edit first.
Remove photos and videos from an album
Deleting a photo or video from an album removes it from the album only. It still remains in Photos on iCloud.com and on any device that has iCloud Photos turned on.
Go to icloud.com/photos, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Select an album in the sidebar to view its contents.
Select the photos or videos you want to remove, select
, then select Remove.
Delete an album
Go to icloud.com/photos, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Select Albums in the sidebar.
Tap or hold the pointer over an album, select
, then select Delete Album.Select Delete.
The album is removed from iCloud Photos on all your devices, but the items in the album are still visible in your photo library and other albums that contain them.
