
Configure a Lock Screen setting in Apple Business Essentials
The Lock Screen setting allows you to set the information and appearance of items on the Lock Screen of an iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
- In Apple Business Essentials, sign in with a user who has the role of Administrator. 
- Select Settings  in the sidebar, then select All Settings. in the sidebar, then select All Settings.
- Select the Add button  next to Lock Screen next to Lock Screen . .
- Under Platform, select the operating systems you would like to configure this setting for. 
- Choose any of the following Lock Screen features: - Setting - Description - Supported operating system - Lock Screen message - You can choose a message to display above the login prompt. You might use this to provide a warning about unauthorized use. - iOS - iPadOS - macOS - Language selection menu - Choose whether to show the keyboard input methods menu on the Lock Screen. - macOS - Host information - Choose whether to allow the user to cycle through the hostname, macOS version, and IP address when the menu bar is clicked. - macOS - Show buttons - Choose the buttons you’d like users to see: - The Sleep button 
- The Restart button 
- The Shut Down button 
 - macOS - Login appearance - Select User name/password to allow the user to enter both their user name and password. - Select List of users to show local users in the Login window. - macOS - Other accounts - Allows the user to choose “Other” in the Login window. - macOS - Guest account - Choose whether users can enable a guest account. - macOS - Administrator accounts - Choose whether to show or hide local administrator accounts. - macOS - Fast User Switching - Choose whether Fast User Switching is available from the menu bar. - macOS - Log out - Choose whether the Log Out option is available in the Apple menu. - macOS - Lock Screen - Choose whether the Lock Screen option is available in the Apple menu. - macOS - Notification history - Choose whether previous notifications can be reviewed on the Lock Screen. If this setting is turned off, new notifications are still visible when they arrive. - iOS - iPadOS - Today View - Choose whether Today View can be accessed while the device is locked. - iOS - iPadOS - Apple Wallet - Choose whether Apple Wallet items, such as credit cards or boarding passes, can be accessed while the device is locked. - iOS - iPadOS - Siri - Choose whether Siri can be used while the device is locked. - iOS - iPadOS - Control Center - Choose whether Control Center can be used while the device is locked. - iOS - iPadOS 
- Select Save.
