Improve Classwork in Apple School Manager
Your organisation can allow Apple to process students’ and instructors’ Classwork usage data in a non-personally identifiable way, using techniques such as machine learning, to improve Classwork. See the Apple Support article About privacy and security for Apple products in education.
Turn on Improving Classwork for the entire organisation
In Apple School Manager , sign in as a user that has the role of Administrator.
Select your name at the bottom of the sidebar, select Preferences , then select Accounts .
Do one of the following:
Select Enable next to Improving Schoolwork.
Select Disable next to Improving Schoolwork, read the dialog, then select Disable.
To opt out specific students or instructors, see Turn off Improving Classwork for a single account.
Turn off Improving Classwork for a single account
In Apple School Manager , sign in as a user that has the role of Administrator, Site Manager or People Manager.
Select Users in the sidebar, then select or search for a user in the search field. See How to search.
Select the user from the list, select , select Disable Improving Schoolwork, read the dialog, then select Disable.
You’ll receive a mail message confirming that the student’s account was removed from improving Classwork.
