Try quick troubleshooting steps
- Verify that the USB cable being used for firmware updates has data capability. Some USB cables don't have data capability. Verify that the cable included with the product is being used or use another known-good USB cable. 
- If the Beats product contains firmware, verify that it has been updated to the latest firmware version. 
- It may be necessary to reset the product for firmware updates to be applied and recognized. - Note: Resetting a product with nonreplaceable batteries may cause the product to require a full recharge cycle. 
- Note: If the product unexpectedly turns off after resetting it, connect the product to a known-good power adapter or charger that's connected to AC power and charge the product completely. 
 
Run manual tests
If the issue wasn’t resolved by following a support article or trying the quick troubleshooting steps, run these manual tests to help isolate the cause of the issue:

If the issue wasn’t resolved or isolated by following the previous steps, it's recommended to mail in the Beats product for service. Refer to Beats Repair and Service for specific guidance.

- Verify that the product remains connected without any skipping or loss of control of built-in remote functionality. 
- Check for any connectivity symptoms, such as: - Unable to switch audio sources 
- Unable to connect to audio source 
- Unable to complete initial setup 
- Unable to connect through Bluetooth 
- Dropped or intermittent connection
