What is iCloud storage?
When you sign up for iCloud, you automatically get 5 GB of free storage. You can choose which apps and features store information in iCloud by turning iCloud features on or off.
Manage your iCloud storage
You can check how much iCloud storage you have available and see which iCloud features are using the most storage. If you want to change your storage plan, you can upgrade or downgrade your iCloud storage at any time. If you upgrade your storage to 200 GB or more and are part of a Family Sharing group, you can share your iCloud storage with other family members.
If you run out of space, you can remove stored items to make more space available. When you delete something stored in iCloud, it’s deleted from all your devices with the iCloud feature turned on. See the Apple Support article Manage your iCloud storage.
How can you access information stored in iCloud?
Items you store in iCloud are available on any iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac that you set up for iCloud.
You can also access some information in the iCloud for Windows app on a Windows computer and on iCloud.com.
For information about combining iCloud storage and Apple subscriptions, see the Apple Support article Bundle Apple subscriptions with Apple One.
