Browse and save hikes in Maps on Mac
In the national parks of select countries, you can browse hikes and save the routes — along with any notes you add — then access them later.
Note: You must be connected to the internet to search for hikes. Not all features are available in all countries or regions.

Go to the Maps app
on your Mac.
Choose View > Explore or press Command-1.
Search for a place, such as a national park, then click it in the search results.
On the place card, scroll to the Hikes section, then click a hike to open it.
You can browse more hikes by swiping left with two fingers on your trackpad. To see a list of hikes, click More.
Click Add to Routes, rename the hike and add notes (optional), then click Done.
To see your saved hikes, click Routes in the sidebar.
If you don’t see the sidebar, click .
