Create or edit contacts in Contacts on iCloud.com
You can create a new contact or edit an existing contact on iCloud.com. You can add or delete fields in a contact for default information, such as a phone number or email address, and you can add fields for additional information, such as a birthday, nickname, or spouse’s name.
When you make changes to a contact, those changes appear on all your devices that have Contacts turned on in iCloud settings.
Note: You need to be on a tablet or computer to use Contacts on iCloud.com.
Go to icloud.com/contacts, then sign in to your Apple Account (if necessary).
Do either of the following:
Create a new contact: Select
on the right, then choose Create New Contact. A blank contact card appears.
Edit an existing contact: Select the contact in the contacts list, then select Edit at the top of the contact card.
Add or edit the contact’s first and last name.
Do any of the following:
Add contact details: Select
next to Contact Details to add additional information, like a nickname or job title. You can also select Add Field at the bottom of the contact card to add these details, as well as a few additional options, like phonetic first and last name.
Add or change the photo: To add a new contact photo, select Add Photo. To edit an existing photo, select the photo. Select Choose Photo or drag a photo to the photo field. You can resize or rotate the photo. Select Done to save your changes.
Add new fields: Select
next to the fields you want to add. Some fields require that you choose a label from the pop-up menu. For example, choose to add an email address for Home, Work, School, or Other, or create a custom label.
Edit existing fields: Select a field to edit it.
Delete a field: Select
. You can’t delete default fields.
When you’re done, select Save.
You can also add a contact in iCloud Mail, if you’re signed in to your Apple Account on an Apple device. See Save and find email addresses in Mail on iCloud.com.
