Intro to Feedback Assistant on Mac
Apple collects feedback from customers that are using prerelease software to improve the overall quality of our products. With your help, many different environments can be tested.
Each time you open Feedback Assistant, your computer is scanned for changes to your system’s attributes. System attributes—for example, the computer model, network settings, and apps you use—help Apple understand your test environment. When new or updated attributes are detected, they’re automatically submitted to your beta or seed program profile.
To learn more about providing feedback, go to the Apple Bug Reporting website.
Who can use Feedback Assistant
If you’re registered as an Apple Developer, or enrolled in a current Apple Beta Software Program or AppleSeed for IT, you can use Feedback Assistant on your Mac to create feedback and respond to requests for more information from Apple.
Note: If you’re not affiliated with any of these programs, you can send feedback to Apple on the Apple Product Feedback website.
