Syndicated content in Apple News
You can publish syndicated content to Apple News, but the majority of your channel’s articles must be original content created by your newsroom.
Articles produced by a syndication or wire service and published to your channel must be marked as syndicated in News Publisher or with the corresponding Apple News Format metadata property. You must also make it clear in the article itself (including in the byline) that the article was provided by a wire service.
If the syndicated article was created using AI tools, mark it as AI-generated instead of syndicated, and include attribution in the article that explains it was produced by a syndication or wire service, as well as produced by or with the assistance of artificial intelligence. You’re responsible for the accuracy of all content published to Apple News — including content created with or by a third party. You’re also expected to correct any errors in a timely and transparent manner.
