
Play songs from your library in Music on Mac
Listen to your music the way you like—use the controls in the Music window to repeat songs, change the order they play in, and more.
Siri: Ask Siri something like:
“Play the album”
“What song is this?”
“Pause music”
“Resume music”
Or without using Siri:
Go to the Music app
 on your Mac.Do any of the following to find music in your music library:
Find a specific song or album: Click any item below Library in the sidebar. For example, click Albums to display all the albums in your library.
Choose View > Only Downloaded Music to see only music stored on your Mac.
Tip: To quickly jump to a song using your keyboard, click Songs in the sidebar, click a column header, then type one or more letters or numbers to find the first item with that combination. For example, if you click the Title column, then type “P,” the first song title starting with P will be selected.
Choose a playlist: Select a playlist below Playlists in the sidebar.
Search your music library: See Search for music.
Move the pointer over any song or album, then click
.
You can also shuffle and repeat songs, queue them up in a specific order, sort them, transition them using crossfade or AutoMix, or prevent a song from playing.
