Change Files settings in Music on Mac

In the Music app on your Mac, use Files settings to set and organize your Media folder.

To change these settings, choose Music > Settings, then click Files.

Option				Description
Media Location				Select the Media Location, where songs and other files you import into Music are located. Change: Choose a folder other than the original location, Music\Music. Reset: Choose to reset to the original location.
Keep Media folder organized				Automatically move imported music into folders for album and artist.
Copy files to Media folder when adding to library				Copy an item to the Media folder when you drag the item to the Music window. See Add files to your library but not to your Music folder.
Import Settings				Change the file format and other settings for songs you import from CDs. See Change Import settings.
