Use widgets on Apple Vision Pro
Widgets let you display useful information and add decorative touches to your surroundings that reappear every time you put on Apple Vision Pro.
Add a widget to your surroundings
Go to the Widgets app
on your Apple Vision Pro.
Tap an app in the list on the left. You can enter a term in the search field to narrow the list.
Note: With the exception of Batteries and Clock, the list of available widgets comes from the apps you have installed on your Apple Vision Pro. (Not every app has a widget.)
Swipe through the options to find a style you like, then tap Add Widget.
Pinch and drag the window bar to snap the widget to a surface in your surroundings.
Note: To place a widget, you have to snap it to a nearby surface. Unlike app windows, widgets can’t float in the space around you.
Tap
to customise the widget.
You can customise the look of widgets by changing options like frame colour and thickness. Some widgets have additional options — for example, you can choose which album to shuffle in a Photos widget, or which artist to feature in a Music widget.
When you’ve finished customising the widget, tap Done.
Once you place a widget in your space, it stays there and reappears every time you put on Apple Vision Pro — even after you restart it.
Customise a widget
Pinch and hold a widget.
Tap
, then make adjustments.
When you’ve finished customising the widget, tap Done.
Open an app from a widget
Some widgets, like Photos and Calendar, let you open an app directly from the widget itself. Just tap the widget to open the associated app.
Move or remove a widget
Pinch and hold a widget.
Do either of the following:
Move the widget: Pinch and drag the window bar to a different place in your surroundings, then tap Done.
Remove the widget: Look to the left of the window bar, then tap
.
