Connect devices to Apple Configurator on Mac
Before you can modify device settings, you must connect your device to the Mac that has Apple Configurator 2 installed.
Connect iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch
In Apple Configurator 2 on your Mac, plug in your iOS device or iPadOS device using the USB cable that came with your device.

If this is the first time you’ve plugged the device into this Mac, tap Trust on the device’s “Trust this computer” pane.
