
Read and share business news in Stocks on Mac
In the Stocks app, you can read business news that’s driving the market. In countries where Apple News is available, you also see stories selected by the Apple News editors and stories from Apple News+.

Read news about a ticker symbol
Go to the Stocks app
on your Mac.
Click a ticker symbol in a watchlist, then click a headline to view the full story.
In countries where Apple News is available, the story opens in the Stocks app. In other locations, the story opens in Safari or your default browser.
To return to the headlines, click
in the toolbar.
Read the top business news of the day
Go to the Stocks app
on your Mac.
Click Business News at the top of the sidebar, then click a headline to read the full story.
In countries where Apple News is available, the story opens in the Stocks app. In other locations, the story opens in Safari or your default browser.
To return to the headlines, click
in the toolbar.
Share a news story
Note: You can share a news story from the Stocks app only where Apple News is available.
Go to the Stocks app
on your Mac.
While reading a story about a ticker symbol or the day’s top business news, as above, click
in the top right, then choose how you want to share the story.
To return to the headlines, click
in the toolbar.
Save a story to the News app
Save stories to the News app so you can view or share them later.
When you sign in to the same Apple Account on all your Apple devices and turn on News in iCloud settings, the stories you save on your Mac are also available in News on your other Apple devices.
Note: You can save a news story only where Apple News is available.
Go to the Stocks app
on your Mac.
While reading a story about a ticker symbol or the day’s top business news, as above, do one of the following:
Click
in the top right.
Choose File > Save Story to Apple News, or press Command-S.
To return to the headlines, click
in the toolbar.
To remove a story from your saved stories while reading it, choose File > Unsave Story, or press Command-S.
To view your saved stories later, open the News app, then select Saved Stories in the sidebar. See Save stories in News.
