Turn off and restrict access to Apple Intelligence features on Mac
You can turn off Apple Intelligence features like Siri AI (Beta),* summarization features, and more. For more information on parental controls, see Apple Devices for Kids and Families.
Note: Apple Intelligence on macOS 27 is not available in all languages or regions. Usage limits may apply.
To change these settings, do any of the following:
Option | Description |

Siri AI (Beta) | Go to the System Settings app |
Switch to Siri Classic | To use Siri Classic instead of Siri Al, follow the steps above to turn off Siri. Click Turn On Siri, then select Use Siri Classic. |
