How to send your AirPods to Apple for service from Ireland and the UK

Here's how you send your AirPods to Apple for service.

Pack your AirPods using the included packaging materials

Before returning your AirPods, please wipe them clean and remove any debris.

1. Remove the shipping contents from the delivered package. Shipping contents include: a white box, a brown box, a return shipping bag, and a battery sticker.

2. Place both AirPods in the charging case. No matter the issue, both AirPods and the charging case must be returned for service.

   

   • If you're sending AirPods Pro, remove the ear tips and keep them in a safe place to use with your AirPods Pro after service. To remove an ear tip, pull firmly at the base where the ear tip is attached to the AirPod.

     

3. Place the AirPods and charging case inside the white box.

   

4. Put the white box into the brown shipping box.

   

5. Close the brown shipping box and use the tape strip to seal the lid.

   

6. Place the brown box into the shipping bag with the return shipping label showing.

   

7. Seal the shipping bag by removing the clear film and folding the edge of the bag over the exposed tape.

   

8. Attach the battery sticker to the shipping bag.*

   

Ship your AirPods to Apple

1. Find the name of the courier on the return shipping label.

2. Visit the courier's website to schedule a pickup or find a drop-off location.

3. Ask the courier for a receipt.

4. Check the status of your service request.

Use your AirPods after service

1. Record the serial number of your replacement Apple product. Your replacement Apple product is covered by a 90-day service warranty, or the remainder of your original product warranty or AppleCare plan, whichever is longer. Consumer law will also apply to your replacement product where available.
