Identify songs with Music Recognition on Apple Watch
With the Music Recognition app, you can use Shazam to identify a song playing around you, see the song in Apple Music, and add it to a playlist.
Note: Music Recognition isn’t available in all languages.
Recognize music with Shazam
- Go to the Music Recognition app  on your Apple Watch. on your Apple Watch.
- Tap  . . - If the song is identified by Shazam, the title and artist are displayed. 
- Do any of the following: - See the song in Apple Music: Tap Apple Music. 
- Add to it to your library or playlist: Tap Add to. 
- See details about the song: Scroll down to see the album, release date, and genre. 
 
Tip: While a song is being identified by Shazam, you can see the Music Recognition app as a Live Activity in the Smart Stack.
See songs identified previously
- Go to the Music Recognition app  on your Apple Watch. on your Apple Watch.
- Scroll down to see the history.
