
Set or change parental controls in Apple Music on the web
You can restrict access to explicit content in Apple Music using the Parental Controls settings.
Set content restrictions
- Go to music.apple.com  . .
- Click the My Account button (it looks like a photo or monogram) in the top-right corner, then choose Settings. - You may be asked to sign in to your Apple Account. 
- Below Parental Controls, click the switch to turn on Content Restrictions. 
- Enter a four-digit passcode to prevent changes to the restrictions you set, then click Continue. - You need to re-enter the passcode to verify it. 
- Enter a recovery email address that can be used if you forget the passcode, then click Continue. 
- Click the pop-up menus to choose allowed ratings for music, TV shows and movies. 
Change content restrictions
- Go to music.apple.com  . .
- Click the My Account button (it looks like a photo or monogram) in the top-right corner, then choose Settings. - You may be asked to sign in to your Apple Account. 
- Below Parental Controls, enter your four-digit passcode. - If you can’t remember your passcode, click Forgot Passcode, then check the recovery email address for instructions to reset the passcode. 
- To make changes to the Parental Controls section, do any of the following: - Change content restrictions: Click the pop-up menus to choose allowed ratings for music, TV shows and movies. 
- Change the recovery email: Click Edit, enter a new email address, then click Continue. 
- Change the passcode: Click Change Passcode, enter the current passcode, enter a new passcode, then click Continue. - You need to re-enter the new passcode to verify it. 
- Turn off content restrictions: Click the switch to turn off restrictions.
