Send your iPhone to Apple for service
After you’ve contacted Apple for service, you’ll receive a kit that contains everything you need to return your product to Apple.
Before you ship your iPhone
Back up your iPhone
Erase your iPhone to delete your personal data and remove it from your Apple Account: In Settings, tap General > Transfer or Reset iPhone, then tap Erase All Content and Settings. You need to enter your Apple Account password to confirm.
If your iPhone uses a physical SIM card, remove it and keep it in a safe place. If your iPhone uses an eSIM, contact your wireless service provider to suspend service.
Power down your iPhone.
Pack your iPhone
When you pack your iPhone, don't include anything else in the box — like a phone case, power adapter, USB cable, or other accessory. If you do, they won't be returned to you.
Place your iPhone in the bag.
Place the bag in the shipping box and close the box. Make sure the battery sticker is pasted flat on the box and isn't covered by tape or a shipping label.
Ship your iPhone to Apple
The courier will bring a box to collect your iPhone. When you pack your iPhone, don't include anything else in the box — like a phone case, power adapter, USB cable, or other accessory. If you do, they won't be returned to you.
When the courier arrives, take the provided Return Airway Bill (AWB) label and paste it on the box that they provide.
The courier will wait for up to ten minutes for you to prepare and pack your product.
If the courier leaves before you pack your product, arrange for another courier to collect the device: Call GD Express Malaysia Customer Service at 03-7787-6776 (Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) They’ll ask for the number from the Return AWB number provided by the previous courier.
Make sure to get proof of collection from the courier to confirm that you've sent your iPhone for service.
