
Change VoiceOver Braille settings (Braille Access tab) in VoiceOver Utility on Mac
Use the Braille Access pane of the Braille category in VoiceOver Utility to customise your settings.
To open VoiceOver Utility, press Command-F5 to turn on VoiceOver, then press VO-Fn-F8.
Note: VO represents the VoiceOver modifier that you press with additional keys to enter VoiceOver commands. By default, you can press Control and Option together or just press Caps Lock.
Option | Description |

Launch App | Select whether Launch App appears in the Braille Access menu. |
Braille Notes | Select whether Braille Notes appears in the Braille Access menu. Click Show Detail and do any of the following:

BRF Files | Select whether BRF Files appears in the Braille Access menu. Click Show Detail and do any of the following:

Calculator | Select whether Calculator appears in the Braille Access menu. Click Show Detail and do any of the following:

Live Captions | Select whether Live Captions appears in the Braille Access menu. |
Time | Select whether Time appears in the Braille Access menu. |
Open to Last Position | Select whether previous settings appear when Braille Access is reopened. |
Speak List Items | Select whether list items can be read aloud. |
Speak Typing Feedback | Select whether typing feedback can be read aloud. |
Show Visuals | Select whether a visual of the Braille Access menu appears. |
