Add playing cells to a column in GarageBand for iPad
When cells from different columns are playing, you can add the playing cells to a single column. If you add playing cells to an empty column, the cells in the corresponding rows are added to the column. If you add playing cells to a column that already contains cells, the playing cells replace any existing cells in the corresponding rows.
Add playing cells to a single column
Tap the Edit Cells button
in the lower-left corner of the Live Loops grid.Tap the column trigger for the column you want to add the playing cells to.
Tap Merge Playing Cells.
