
Change Ratings & Photos settings in Maps on Mac
In the Maps app 
 on your Mac, use Ratings & Photos settings to receive suggestions to submit ratings or photos for places you’ve recently visited, and manage the ratings and photos you share.
To change these settings, choose Maps > Settings, then click Ratings & Photos.

Show Ratings and Photos Suggestions  | Receive suggestions to submit a rating or photo for places you’ve recently visited. Ratings and photo suggestions use on-device processing and cannot be read by Apple. If you don’t want to receive suggestions, deselect Show Ratings and Photos Suggestions.  | ||||||||||
Allow Photo Providers to Use Your Photos  | Allow companies that provide photos to Maps to use the photos that you add to Maps in their own products and services.  | ||||||||||
Show Photo Credit  | Get public credit for the photos you contribute on Maps.  | ||||||||||
Nickname  | Enter the nickname you want to use when you get public credit for your photos on Maps.  | ||||||||||
