Change Users & Groups User preferences on Mac
Use the User pane of Users & Groups System Preferences to change settings for your account on this Mac. If you’re an administrator, you can also change settings for others who use your Mac. Learn how to set up a new user.
To change these preferences, choose Apple menu

Note: If the lock at the bottom left of the pane is locked , click it to unlock the preference pane.

User picture | Click the picture to edit it, then select a new picture.
Instead of clicking the picture, you can drag an image file from the Finder | ||||||||||
Change Password Reset Password | Click the button to change the login password and password hint. To use the Password Assistant, click the key | ||||||||||
Contacts Card | Click Open to view and edit your Contacts card. Only available for the user who is currently logged in. | ||||||||||
Allow user to reset password using Apple ID | Lets the user change their password for this Mac at login by entering their Apple ID and password. To use this option, the user must have set up iCloud on this Mac. However, this option isn’t available if FileVault is turned on and set to allow the user to reset their password at startup using their Apple ID. | ||||||||||
Allow user to administer this computer | Makes the user an administrator for this Mac. | ||||||||||
Add | To add a new user or group, click the Add button |
