Add a bookmarks folder in Safari on Mac
You can organize bookmarks into folders in the Safari sidebar.
- Go to the Safari app  on your Mac. on your Mac.
- Click Bookmarks in the sidebar. - If the sidebar isn’t shown, click  in the toolbar. in the toolbar.- If you don’t see Bookmarks at the top or bottom of the sidebar, click  at the top of the sidebar. at the top of the sidebar.
- Click  , then choose New Folder. , then choose New Folder.
- Enter a folder name, then press Return. - To change the name, click  , choose Show Folders on Top, Control-click the folder, then choose Rename. Enter the new name, then press Return. , choose Show Folders on Top, Control-click the folder, then choose Rename. Enter the new name, then press Return.- To move the folder, click  , deselect Show Folders on Top, then drag the folder to the location you want. , deselect Show Folders on Top, then drag the folder to the location you want.
