Import songs from the internet to Music on Mac
You can add audio files that you find on the internet to your music library.
Some websites allow you to download the actual audio file. Other websites only allow you to download a link (the URL) to the audio file; when you play it, Music finds the song on the internet and streams it live to your computer. Songs that are streamed have a broadcast symbol next to them in the Music window.
Important: Don’t steal music. Some websites require you to register before you can play or download files.
Click a song to download it to your computer.
Go to the Music app on your Mac.
Drag the file to the Music window.
