Type
%USERPROFILE%if you're using the Apple Devices app or iTunes from the Microsoft Store. If iTunes shows "Help > Check for Updates" and you are not using the Apple Devices app, type
%AppData%. When iTunes on your PC shows "Help > Check for Updates", this situation usually means that you have the older, traditional iTunes version (not from the Microsoft Store) and need to manually update it using the Help menu. However, if you have the Microsoft Store version, updates are automatic, and the %AppData% reference suggests potential file location issues or corrupted installation. To keep Apple software for Microsoft Windows up to date on your PC, use Microsoft Store and Apple Software Update.
