Allow Apple Remote Desktop to access your Mac
Use Remote Management in Sharing settings to allow others to access your computer using Apple Remote Desktop.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click General in the sidebar, then click Sharing on the right. (You may need to scroll down.)
Turn on Remote Management, then click the Info button on the right.
If asked, select the tasks remote users are permitted to perform. If you’re not asked, click Options to select tasks.
Do one of the following:
Select “All users” to let anyone with a user account on your Mac share your screen.
Select “Only these users,” click the Add button , then select the users who can share your Mac.
Click Computer Settings, select options for your Mac, then click OK.
If people connect using a VNC viewer, you need to set a password.
Apple Remote Desktop is available from the App Store. For help setting up and using Apple Remote Desktop, see the Apple Remote Desktop User Guide.
