Add rooms to Home on Mac
Add rooms where you plan to add lights, locks, thermostats, and other accessories to automate your home.
Add a room
In the Home app
on your Mac, click the Add button 
, then click Add Room.Name the room and choose a wallpaper to identify the room.
Click Save.
Tip: You can customize your wallpaper by dragging and dropping an image such as a JPG or TIFF file.
Edit a room
In the Home app
on your Mac, click the room in the sidebar.Choose Edit > Edit Room.
Change the room name, zone, or wallpaper.
Click Done.
Switch to another room
In the Home app
on your Mac, click the room in the sidebar.
Switch to another home
In the Home app
on your Mac, Control-click the Home button in the main pane, then choose another home.
