Set separation alerts in case you leave a device behind in Find My on Mac
You can turn on separation alerts for a device so you don’t accidentally leave it behind. You can also set Trusted Locations, which are locations where you can leave your device without receiving an alert.
For your supported iPhone Wallet with MagSafe, you can get an alert if it detaches from your iPhone.
Important: Although you can view and manage separation alerts on Mac, you will only receive the alert on the device sharing your location—for example, your iPhone. See “Set separation alerts in case you leave a device behind” in the user guide for iPhone or iPad, or Find misplaced devices in the Apple Watch User Guide.
Set up alerts for your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, or AirPods
You can set up separation alerts for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 15, iPadOS 15, or later; Mac with Apple silicon and macOS Monterey 12 or later; or supported AirPods with the Find My network turned on.
You receive an alert every time the device sharing your location separates from the device you set an alert for.
In the Find My app on your Mac, click Devices.
In the Devices list, select the device you want to set an alert for, then click the Info button on the map.
Below Notifications, click Notify When Left Behind.
Turn on Notify When Left Behind, then follow the onscreen instructions.
If you want to add a Trusted Location, you can choose a suggested location, or click New Location, select a location on the map, then click Done.
Click Done.
Get notified when your iPhone Wallet detaches from your iPhone

In the Devices list, select the name of your supported iPhone Wallet with MagSafe, then click the Info button on the map.
Below Notifications, click Notify When Detached.
Turn off or on Notify when Detached, then click Done.
