Clean HDMI output
Output a clean video image without overlays to an external monitor or recorder so you can stay focused on the image being captured. (Requires iPhone 17 Pro or later.) See Use an external display.
Expanded ProRes support
Choose between ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes 422, and ProRes 422 LT to strike the perfect balance between image quality and file size.* See Set the codec and color space.
Disable digital zoom
Ensure that every shot records at full optical resolution, and disable digital zoom to prevent accidental cropping. See Change the zoom level.
Improved sharing to Mac
