
Manage Actions for your Showcase in Apple Business Connect
Actions allow direct customer experiences within your brand’s website. Before you create or edit any Actions, see About Actions.
Create and add an Action
You can create only one Action for each action type and it needs to contain the path to a page on your website.
If you’re not already signed in to Apple Business Connect, sign in with a user who has the role of Administrator.
If you’re the Administrator for more than one company, select the appropriate company from the Company list
.
Select Locations
in the sidebar.
Sort or search for the location where you want to add an Action, then select the location. See Sort or search for a location.
Do one of the following:
Select
next to Actions, then select Add.
Select Add an Action Link next to any active Actions.
Select the Action from the Action menu, add your Action, then select Add.
Select Save.
If necessary, repeat this take to create additional Actions for another Action.
Review the Place Card preview to the right to ensure your Primary Action and other Actions appear as you intended.
Select your Primary Action
If you’re not already signed in to Apple Business Connect, sign in with a user who has the role of Administrator.
If you’re the Administrator for more than one company, select the appropriate company from the Company list
.
Select Locations
in the sidebar.
Sort or search for the location where you want to select your Primary Action, then select the location. See Sort or search for a location.
Select
next to Actions, then select Change Primary Action.
Select the Action from the Action menu you want to appear as your Primary Action, then select Change.
Select Save.
Review the Place Card preview to the right to ensure your Primary Action appears as you intended.
Disable or replace an Action
You can temporarily disable or replace an Action. If you disable an Action, the sort order of any remaining Third-Party Partner Actions revert to the Apple Maps default sort order.
If you’re not already signed in to Apple Business Connect, sign in with a user who has the role of Administrator.
If you’re the Administrator for more than one company, select the appropriate company from the Company list

Select Locations
in the sidebar.
Sort or search for the location where you want to disable or replace an Action, then select the location. See Sort or search for a location.
Select
next to Actions.
Locate your Action, then do one of the following:
Select Disable.
Replace the Action information with new information.
Select Save.
Remove an Action
When an Action is removed, the it’s removed from the Place Card and the sort order of any remaining Third-Party Partner Actions revert to the Apple Maps default sort order.
If you’re not already signed in to Apple Business Connect, sign in with a user who has the role of Administrator.
If you’re the Administrator for more than one company, select the appropriate company from the Company list
.
Select Locations
in the sidebar.
Sort or search for the location where you want to remove an Action, then select the location. See Sort or search for a location.
Select
next to Actions.
Locate your Action, then select Edit.
Select Remove Action, then select Remove.
Select Save.
