Sign in to Shared iPad
The Shared iPad sign-in process varies depending on how you’ve configured Apple Business Manager. If you use federated authentication, the first time a user signs in, they enter their Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, or your identity provider (IdP) user name and a Shared iPad passcode. For user accounts that use Apple for authentication, the user enters their Managed Apple ID and their Managed Apple ID password.
Tip: You can bring up the Wi-Fi picker on Shared iPad while at the sign-in screen by pressing the Home button or Touch ID sensor twice or the Sleep/Wake button twice on an iPad without a Home button.
