Use a PPP connection terminal script on Mac
Some ISPs may require a PPP connection terminal script to connect to the internet using a modem. Contact your ISP for the terminal script.
In the Finder, hold down the Option key, then choose Go > Library.
If the Library folder does not contain a Terminal Scripts folder, you need to create it. Choose File > New Folder, then name the new folder Terminal Scripts.
Copy the terminal script file from your ISP to the Terminal Scripts folder.
On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, then click Network.
Select your modem service in the list at the left, then click Advanced.
Click PPP, click the Settings pop-up menu, then choose Configuration.
Click the Terminal Scripts pop-up menu, then choose your connection script.
Click OK, then click Apply.
If the Terminal Scripts pop-up menu is dimmed, then the script is not being recognized. Check that the script is valid and that it’s installed in the Terminal Scripts folder in your Library folder (see steps 1-3 above).
