OS X Server (Mavericks): Alert when adding Apple Developer membership to Xcode service

When you attempt to add a Developer Team to the Xcode service, you may receive this alert message:

"Server encountered an error with Apple Developer.

Please try again later. If the problem persists, contact Apple Developer Technical Support for help."

Resolution

To add a server to your team, log in with the Apple ID of the agent, or the Apple ID of an admin of a registered Apple Developer Team. To verify team membership and roles, you can contact Apple Developer Program Support.

The system.log may contain more information, such as: "You are not allowed to perform this operation. Please check with one of your Team Admins, or, if you need further assistance, please contact Apple Developer Program Support."
