Bind to a directory service in System Image Utility on Mac

In the System Image Utility app on your Mac, you can bind network images to directory servers, such as Open Directory and Active Directory. When you add a directory server to the server list, you need the following:

• Server: The fully qualified domain name of the server

• Identifier: The MAC address for each client computer you want bound

  Note: Leave this field blank to bind all computers to the directory server.

• User Name: The name of a user who is authorized to bind computers to a directory server

• Password: The password of the authorized user
