Important handling information for Studio Display XDR
Do not operate your Studio Display XDR in areas with significant amounts of airborne dust, or smoke from cigarettes, cigars, ashtrays, stoves, or fireplaces, or near an ultrasonic humidifier using unfiltered tap water. Tiny airborne particles produced by smoking, cooking, burning, or using an ultrasonic humidifier with unfiltered water may, in rare instances, enter the ventilation openings of your Studio Display XDR and, under certain conditions, result in a slight haze on the inside surface of the glass panel that covers the display.
Carrying Studio Display XDR. Before you lift or reposition your Studio Display XDR, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and disconnect all other cables and cords. Use both hands to lift your Studio Display XDR by its sides.
Note: The power cord is not removable.
Using connectors and ports. Never force a connector into a port. Before you plug the power cord into the power port, make sure the power port is completely free of debris. When connecting a device to a port, make sure the port is completely free of debris, that the connector matches the port, and that you have positioned the connector correctly in relation to the port.
Storing Studio Display XDR. If you’re going to store your Studio Display XDR for an extended period of time, keep it in a cool location (ideally, 71° F or 22° C).
Cleaning the display. To clean the polishing cloth, hand wash it with dish soap and water. Rinse thoroughly, then let it air dry. For additional polishing cloths, contact AppleCare or visit support.apple.com. For more information about cleaning the display, see Clean the Studio Display XDR.
