Add or remove songs on iPhone, iPad, or an Android device
Without using the Shazam app to identify music, you can add any song in the Shazam catalog to your collection. You can also quickly remove a song you no longer want.
Add a song to your collection
Go to the Shazam app
.Do one of the following:
On iPhone or iPad: Tap
at the bottom of the screen; enter a lyric, song name, or artist name in the search field; tap an item in the search results list; tap a song (if necessary); tap
in the track screen; then tap Add To Library.On an Android device: Tap
; enter a lyric, song name, or artist name in the search field at the top of the screen; tap an item in the search results list; tap a song (if necessary); tap
; then tap Add to your Library.
Delete identified songs from the Shazam app Library on iPhone or iPad
Important: After you remove an identified song, it can’t be recovered.
Go to the Shazam app
, then tap Library
at the bottom of the screen.Do any of the following:
Tap
in the top-right corner of the Library screen, tap
, tap the songs you want to remove, then tap
.Swipe left on a song, then tap Delete. (To delete a song in a single gesture, swipe over it all the way to the left.)
Tap a song, tap
in the track screen, then tap Remove from Library.Touch and hold a song, then tap Remove from Library.
Delete identified songs from your Library on an Android device
Important: After you remove an identified song, it can’t be recovered.
Go to the Shazam app
on your Android device, tap
, then tap Songs.Do any of the following:
Tap
, tap the songs you want to remove, then tap
.Touch and hold the songs you want to remove, then tap
.Tap
on a song, then tap Remove from your Library.
