You can learn more about composers, artists, albums and works in Apple Music Classical.

Read biographies

Go to the Apple Music Classical app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device.
Search or browse to find a composer or artist.
Tap a name in the list to open the composer page or artist page.
Tap More to expand the biography. (You may need to scroll down.)

Note: Biographies aren’t available in all languages and may not be available in some countries or regions.

Read album notes

Go to the Apple Music Classical app on your iPhone, iPad or Android device.
Search or browse to find an album.
Tap the name of the album to open the album page.
Tap More to expand the album note.

Read work descriptions

Search or browse to find a work.
Tap the name of the work to open the work page.
Tap More to expand the work description.

Read album booklets

Album booklets are available for selected works on iPhone and iPad.

Go to the Apple Music Classical app on your iPhone or iPad.
Search or browse to find an album.
Tap the name of the album to open the album page.
Tap . Optionally, tap , then choose View Album Booklet.

You can do any of the following to learn more while browsing or playing music:

Note: On iPad, you may need to tap to display Home and Browse in the sidebar.

Listen to playlists with audio guides: Tap Home and choose an item from The Story of Classical or Track by Track.
Read about instruments and voice types: Tap Browse and select the Instruments category.

Tip: While you’re playing a track or movement, you can view the record label, composer and more. Open the Now Playing screen and tap .
