Terminal Encodings preferences
Use Encodings preferences in Terminal to set the character encodings you want available in Terminal. To open this pane, choose Terminal > Preferences, then click Encodings.
Encodings | Select the international character encodings you want to be available in Terminal. After you select the encodings here, they are available in the “Text encoding” pop-up menu in the Advanced pane of Profiles preferences. | ||||||||||
Enable All | To select all of the international character encodings, click the Enable All button. | ||||||||||
Disable All | To deselect all of the international character encodings, click the Disable All button. | ||||||||||
Revert to Defaults | To return to the default international character encodings settings, click Revert to Defaults. |
