Join a call from a FaceTime link
When you receive a link to a FaceTime call, you join the call in the FaceTime app if you’re using macOS 12, iOS 15, iPadOS 15 or later. You join the call on the web if you’re using an earlier OS version, or if you’re using an Android or Windows device that meets these requirements.
Join a call on your Mac from a FaceTime link
Click the link to the FaceTime call, then click Join in the FaceTime app on your Mac.
If you’re the originator of the FaceTime link, the call begins. The originator of the FaceTime link can let others in to the call immediately. After a participant with an Apple device has joined the call for 30 seconds, they can also let new callers in.
After you’re on a call, you can manage it. For example, you can add more people, change your view of the call, or share a link to the call.
