Use your iPhone to help locate the Siri Remote (2nd generation or later)
If your second-generation or later Siri Remote gets misplaced, you can use Control Center on your iPhone to help locate it (iOS 17 required).
Use iPhone Control Center to help locate the Siri Remote
On your iPhone, swipe to open Control Center, then tap the Apple TV Remote icon .
Tap the Find button for the Siri Remote you’re looking for, then wait for the notification that it has been located.
Note: You may need to move around to establish a connection with the Siri Remote.
When the Siri Remote has been located, a white dot appears and gets larger as you get closer to the remote. Onscreen text also lets you know if you’re near, far, or here (next to the remote).
Tap Found It on the iPhone to confirm or tap Keep Looking to continue searching.
For more information on using Remote in Control Center, see Control Apple TV with iOS or iPadOS Control Center.
