If you can't delete an app on your iPhone
You might need to check these settings if you can't delete an app.
Before you begin
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
Touch and hold the app you want to delete, then tap Remove App.
Check your Screen Time settings
Go to Settings, then tap Screen Time.
Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions.
Tap iTunes & App Store Purchases.
Tap Deleting Apps.
Check if your device is managed
Go to Settings, then tap General.
Tap VPN & Device Management.
Look for a profile listed under Mobile Device Management. If one appears, your device is managed. Contact your organization's IT admin or employer to see if the app can be deleted.
Check for third-party apps
Swipe down from the middle of your Home Screen, and search for third-party apps that might restrict how you use apps. For example, apps like Screen Zen, Cape, Opal, Freedom, or Refocus.
If you find one, open the app and check its settings to see if it's blocking app deletion.
If you can't find a setting to allow app deletion, contact the app developer for help.
