Mac mini (2024) Speaker
Before You Begin
Remove the following parts before you begin:
Tools
- Adjustable torque driver (10–34 Ncm) 
- Torx Plus 5IP 50 mm bit 
Refer to a full list of tools required for all repairs.

Removal
Note: If you’ve already completed the removal steps, skip to reassembly.
- Use the 10–34 Ncm adjustable torque driver and 5IP bit to remove the three 5IP screws from the speaker. - 923-11052 (1)  
- 923-11053 (2)   
 
- Gently push the speaker toward the back of the housing (1). Then rotate the speaker and gently lift it out of the housing (2). - Caution - Don't touch the speaker cone while moving the speaker. 
- The speaker cable is still connected to the logic board. Don't damage the speaker cable while lifting the speaker out of the housing.  
 
 
- Lift the end of the speaker cable off the connector on the logic board.  
Reassembly
- Gently press the end of the speaker cable to the connector on the logic board.  
- Gently lower the speaker into the housing and rotate the speaker into position as shown. - Caution: Don't touch the speaker cone while installing the speaker.  
 
- Set the torque value on the 10–34 Ncm adjustable torque driver to 14.5 Ncm. 
- Use the adjustable torque driver and 5IP bit to reinstall the three 5IP screws into the speaker. - 923-11052 (1)  
- 923-11053 (2)   
 
Reinstall the following parts to complete reassembly:
