Set up and run shortcuts from a widget on your Mac
You can run shortcuts from a Shortcuts widget on the Desktop or in Notification Center on your Mac.
Add Shortcuts widgets to the Desktop or Notification Center
On your Mac, click the date and time in the menu bar to open Notification Center, then scroll down and click Edit Widgets.
Scroll down, then click Shortcuts.
Choose a Shortcuts widget or Shortcuts widget folder, then drag it to your Desktop or to Notification Center.
Click Done.
Set which shortcuts appear in a Shortcuts widget
The small Shortcuts widget displays a single shortcut of your choice. The other Shortcuts widgets display the first widgets in one of your shortcuts collections.
On the Desktop or in Notification Center on your Mac, Control-click the widget then click Edit Shortcuts.
Do one of the following:
Set which shortcut appears in the small widget: Click the shortcut name, choose a different shortcut in the list, then click Done.
Set which shortcuts collection appears in the larger widgets: Click the folder name, choose a different folder in the list, then click Done. To change the order of shortcuts in the widget, see Reorder shortcuts on Mac.

Run a shortcut from a widget
In the Shortcuts widget on the Desktop or in Notification center on your Mac, tap a shortcut.
The shortcut begins.
Remove a Shortcuts widget
On your Mac, Control-click the widget on the Desktop or in Notification Center.
Click Remove Widget.
