
Check your voicemail on Mac
Use the Phone app on Mac to listen to, delete, or share your voicemail messages. You can also check your voicemail messages when Visual Voicemail isn’t available.
If Apple Intelligence* is turned on, voicemail summaries appear below each missed call, so you can instantly see who reached out and what they said. See Use Apple Intelligence in Phone.
Siri: Ask Siri something like, “Play the voicemail from Eliza.” Learn how to use Siri.
Or without using Siri:
Go to the Phone app
on your Mac.
Click Voicemail, then click a message.
Do any of the following:
Play the message: Click
.
Messages are saved until you delete them (or until your carrier erases them, if they’re not stored in iCloud).
Share the message: Click
.
Delete the message: Click
.
Important: In some countries or regions, deleted messages may be permanently erased by your carrier. Your voice messages may also be deleted if you change the SIM card for your iPhone.
Add the caller to your contacts: Click Add Contact, fill in the information, then click
.
To recover a deleted message, click Deleted Messages, click the message, then click .
