Prevent access to the iTunes Store on Mac
You can prevent access to the iTunes Store by hiding the Store button.
![The Store button in the navigation bar.](https://help.apple.com/assets/5E4EB1BD680CE2D95AB05550/5E4EB1C9680CE2D95AB05558/en_US/d17cc67906c436145d7d4f7f3354d33c.png)
Hiding the button also hides all links to the iTunes Store.
In the iTunes app
on your Mac, choose iTunes > Preferences, then click Restrictions.
In the Disable section, select iTunes Store.
