Change General preferences in the Apple TV app on Mac
In the Apple TV app on your Mac, use the General pane in TV preferences to set whether your movies and shows are downloaded, are available across devices, and more.
To change these preferences, choose TV > Preferences, then click General.

Always check for available downloads | Select the checkbox to have the Apple TV app display the number of items you previously purchased from the iTunes Store but didn’t download. | ||||||||||
Automatic Downloads | Select the Movies checkbox or TV Shows checkbox (or both) to have shows you’ve purchased downloaded to your computer. | ||||||||||
Checkboxes in library | When you enable this option, checkboxes appear next to each item in your library (in list view). Only items with selected checkboxes are automatically synced in your library. | ||||||||||
List Size | Choose the option (Small, Medium, Large) to control the size of the font when the Library is set to list (View > As List). | ||||||||||
